Thank you for loving, praying and celebrating with me. God bless you!
There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory. (1 Corin. 15:41)

Your full glory is you in your best qualities, best days and with the best people. It is the place where you dwell at the peak of your potentials and the zenith of your fulfilment. It is the thin line between perfection and reality. It is high up there – it is the ideal you.

Your glory is the most efficient and effective stage of your life. God reaps a huge Return on Investment (ROI) when you are at your glory point. But the question is always this ‘how do I develop my potentials/gifts/talents?’ To this, I would like to expound upon what Incoom Daniel (Head Pastor, ICGC Eagle Temple) shared with me last Sunday.

7 PRACTICAL WAYS TO DEVELOP YOUR GIFTS

  1. Acknowledge and name your gifts: Pay attention to what you do easily, excessively, freely, or happily. Pay attention to what makes you angry. Meditate and reflect.
  2. Identify the context of application: Find the specific areas where your skills are needed. It could be a home setting, work, local church, or local community.
  3. Make use of available resource: Hey! A bird at hand is worth two in the bush. Start grooming your gifts by learning through books, videos, mentorship, etc.
  4. Define your passion: Along the way, remind yourself WHY you do what you do.
  5. Practice Often: Even when you fail at your gifts, try again. Keep on doing it and regularly.
  6. Be accountable: Find people in similar areas and learn from their feedback on your performance.
  7. Persevere: Proverbs 22:29 says “Seest thou a man diligent in his business? He shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.” Your gifts deserve to be used forever (so long as you are alive). They may not fetch you all the money you need but they give undeniable feelings of joy and fulfilment, so keep at them.

Your glory is a state but the way to it is a process. There is no more perfection beyond your glory. So, along the way, enjoy the little victories, learn from the mistakes, but do not get complacent. Celebrate each day like it is the best but remember there are heights of glory to reach. Your full glory is coming soon but it depends on your daily habits, healthy relationships, and personal development adventure.

Proverbs 8:16 “A man’s gift opens doors for him, and brings him before great men.”
